The Freek is dead! Long live the Freek! The newest variant of the Benchmade Freek maintains the same fantastic design with some major upgrades in style and performance. The handles are now made with black and gray textured G10 over red liners while the blade is high performance CPM-M4 with durable poly-ceramic Cerakote in Black. If you loved the Freek before but wanted something more this is the Freek for you.

Blade: The high performance blade is made from CPM M4 for the best combination of wear resistance and toughness, great for seriously heavy use . The high height saber grind makes the blade very strong without sacrificing slicing performance and helps to maintain a more robust tip for piercing tasks. The partially serrated section tears through rope, webbing and other fibrous materials with ease. Dual thumb studs rocket the blade out on phosphor bronze washers while the Black Cerakote offers some corrosion resistance and a tough, discreet finish.
Handle: Inset stainless steel liners form the foundation for the rock solid, ambidextrous, AXIS lock mechanism and ergonomic textured black and gray G10 handles. The handles are open construction for ease of cleaning and maintenance with red liners and aluminum barrel spacers for a pop of color on the otherwise subdued knife. The smooth AXIS lock is further enhanced with a black DLC or Diamond-Like Carbon coating.
Carries via a reversible, tip-up, black oxide stainless steel pocket clip.
